Lemon law varies by state. We connect you with an attorney licensed where you live, who handles the case end-to-end.

Get refund, replacement, or cash

Manufacturer pays the legal fees under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and most state lemon laws. You pay $0 out of pocket.

Why Stop Lemons

The lemon law is on your side. We make it actually work for you.

Most consumers don't realize the manufacturer is required to pay your attorney's fees when you win — which is why a real lemon law claim costs you literally nothing. We connect you with the attorney, file the demand, and push the case until you have a check, a new car, or your money back.

Common questions

The basics, fast.

What is a lemon?

A new or used vehicle still under the manufacturer's warranty that has a substantial defect the dealer can't fix in a reasonable number of attempts. State definitions vary, but most use 3-4 repair attempts or 30+ days in the shop as the threshold.

Do I really pay nothing?

Correct. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. § 2310(d)(2)) and almost every state lemon law require the manufacturer to pay your attorney's fees if you win. That means we work on contingency and the manufacturer foots the bill.

How long does it take?

Most cases settle in 60-120 days. The manufacturer usually doesn't want to litigate — once they see a credible demand from a lemon law attorney, they negotiate.

What do I get?

Three options under most state laws: (1) full refund of what you paid, minus a small mileage offset; (2) a brand-new replacement vehicle of the same make/model; or (3) a cash-and-keep settlement where you keep the car and the manufacturer cuts you a check.
