Attorney Advertising

This website is attorney advertising. Stop Lemons is an advertising name of Lion Legal, P.C.. Ariella Hassid, an attorney licensed in California, is responsible for the content of this website. The firm's principal office is located in Los Angeles, California.

This Site Is Not Legal Advice

The information on this website is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from an attorney about your specific situation. Lemon law is fact-specific, and outcomes depend on the details of each vehicle, warranty, and repair history.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Visiting this website, contacting us, or submitting a case-review form does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only when you and the firm sign a written representation agreement.

Where We Practice

The firm's attorneys are licensed in California. We represent consumers nationwide on federal warranty claims under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.). Where a matter is governed by another state's lemon law, we associate local counsel licensed in that state. We do not provide advice on, or practice, the law of states where we are not licensed.

Remedies Are Not Guaranteed

Lemon law remedies and statutes vary by state. A statutory vehicle buyback or replacement is a remedy of state lemon law and depends on the manufacturer and the applicable state statute. On the federal Magnuson-Moss track, recoveries are commonly cash settlements. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of any particular result.

No Guarantee of Results

Every case is different. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future case.

How Fees Work

In a successful lemon law claim, the manufacturer typically pays the consumer's reasonable attorney's fees and costs. As a result, these matters are generally handled at no out-of-pocket cost to the consumer. Specific fee terms are set out in the written representation agreement.
